Quantum-Enhanced THz Time-Domain Spectroscopy

We investigate the possibility of improving time-domain spectroscopy of Terahertz radiation using quantum states of light. We experimentally demonstrate that using quantum-correlated pulsed twin beams as the probe field significantly enhances the detection sensitivity.
