Optical Microcavities for Efficient Qubit-Photon Interfaces and Networked Quantum Computing

Cavities enable efficient qubit-photon interfaces–a path to scale-out quantum computing cores. Here, we present the performance of our cavity-technology, its suitability to extract NIR-photons from atomic qubits and robust integration into a UHV environment.

Abstract

Cavities enable efficient qubit-photon interfaces–a path to scale-out quantum computing cores. Here, we present the performance of our cavity-technology, its suitability to extract NIR-photons from atomic qubits and robust integration into a UHV environment.
