Path towards single photon detection at the mid-infrared wavelenghts at room temperature
Single Photon Detection is an enabling technology for several quantum applications. Room-temperature solutions for mid-wave infrared does not exist, in the present work a near-single photon detection scheme at room temperature is presented.
