Towards telecommunication-band quantum networking for atom arrays

We present progress towards telecommunication-band quantum networking with 87 Rb using 5P 3 / 2 to 4D 5 / 2 transitions. We show correlated emission of 1530 nm and 780 nm photons, and fabrication of doubly-resonant Fabry-Perot microcavities for efficient photonic coupling.

Abstract

We present progress towards telecommunication-band quantum networking with 87 Rb using 5P 3 / 2 to 4D 5 / 2 transitions. We show correlated emission of 1530 nm and 780 nm photons, and fabrication of doubly-resonant Fabry-Perot microcavities for efficient photonic coupling.
