Acquisition of Target Non-Backscattering Features Based on BiSAR Platform

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) plays an important role in remote sensing of the ground and sea environment and target detection and identification. Compared with single-base SAR, dual-base SAR is able to observe the scene in multiple directions by adjusting the angles of the transmitter and receiver, and obtain the non-backscattered information of the target. This paper proposes a new method for obtaining bistatic RCS (Radar Cross Section) images using the Large Element Physical Optics (LEPO) algorithm on the Feko electromagnetic simulation platform, which successfully analyzes the non-backward scattering characteristics of the aircraft carrier target and generates the RCS image of the aircraft carrier under the irradiation of each angle. In order to verify the matching degree between the RCS image obtained in this paper and the actual dual-base SAR image, this paper takes the RCS image of the aircraft carrier as the base map and applies it to the dual-base SAR scene matching technique, and simulates and analyzes the dual-base SAR matching recognition of the aircraft carrier formation under the interference environment, and the simulation results successfully recognize the aircraft carrier target, which verifies the validity of the method.
