Design of A High-Gain Narrow-Beam Lens Antenna for Industrial Liquid Level Detection
To meet the demand for narrow-beam and high-gain antennas in industrial radar level measurement, a composite-structured antenna operating at the 10 GHz center frequency is proposed. The design employs a corrugated horn to suppress sidelobes and integrates a PTFE dielectric lens for beam compression. Simulations demonstrate that the designed corrugated horn antenna reduces the beamwidth to 7.8°, increases the gain to 27.11 dB, and achieves lower sidelobes. Parametric comparisons validate the synergistic effects of the corrugated structure and lens, providing an effective antenna solution for high-precision liquid level detection.
