A Design Research of Classroom Teaching Enabled by Generative Artificial Intelligence

The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) has promoted the innovation of teaching methods and brought great influence to teaching. Therefore, based on the application advantages of GAI, such as its powerful linguistic communication ability, multi-modal output forms, and versatile application scenarios, this paper clarifies the implementation designs for GAI-enabled classroom teaching. The main concept is divided into the following four points: creating context and decomposing the problem, creating activities and in-depth interactions, deploying integration and adaptive learning, condensing the content and iterative design. The paper also presents teaching cases that are expected to provide practical references for GAI-enabled classroom teaching.
