Risk Prediction System for PCOS Disease Using Machine Learning
PCOS is becoming more common in women with unhealthy lifestyle choices. It is a hormone problem that affects women during their childbearing years and can make it harder for them to have children. PCOS can cause problems with the ovaries, leading to issues like miscarriage, trouble getting pregnant, heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer of the uterus. Some signs of PCOS include cysts on the ovaries, gaining weight, periods that are not regular, having more male hormones, acne, and losing hair. Diagnosing PCOS can be complex because women have different symptoms, and the tests take time and money. This paper talks about using computer programs to help diagnose PCOS in women. They looked at data from 541 women and used unique math formulas to figure out which signs were most likely to mean someone has PCOS. Then, they used different methods to check if their computer program worked well. They used a type of program called KNN to help figure out the chances of someone having PCOS and tried to make sure it was not too expensive.
