Improving Data Integrity in High-Capacity Color QR Codes via Image Steganography
Color QR codes, which have a higher data capacity and visual complexity than traditional QR codes, are a better option for securely transmitting data. This study suggests a new method that combines color QR codes with image steganography to protect confidential data. By utilizing the intrinsic intricacy and expanded data storage capabilities of colorful QR codes, we are able to incorporate greater volumes of data without compromising on visual safeguarding. The method being suggested includes hiding confidential information in a colored QR code and smoothly blending it into a background image, resulting in a strong steganographic technique. The algorithm focuses on minimizing distortion of the cover and stegano-images to maintain visual integrity of hidden information. In order to reveal the hidden message, the QR code that is concealed within the image must be decrypted accurately. The method’s performance is assessed by analyzing PSNR, SSIM, and MSE indicators, showcasing positive outcomes for maintaining image quality and ensuring data security.
