Big Data Applications: A Cross-Domain Analysis of Opportunities and Risks
Technology is moving at a fast pace in today’s world. And with it comes the term “big data”. This can be described as the processing, analyzing, and overall use of intricate and massive data sets. To a point where it surpasses the capability of conventional data management systems. Many fields like health care, education, business, security, and even social media are starting to implement big data. From this implementation we’re now able to achieve new insights that were never before seen or understood. This paper aims to review new research pieces in five areas that cover different domains-looking at both positive and negative aspects. Modern machine learning applications have opened up various trends and future directions for us to explore when it comes to big data research and practice. Some of these techniques will be discussed in this paper. We aim to provide a unique perspective on the diverse ways that big data is currently being utilized while also considering what the future may hold. This research paper will serve as a comprehensive guide for professionals, researchers, and organizations seeking to understand and leverage big data technologies effectively. By examining five distinct domains, readers will gain valuable insights into implementation strategies and potential pitfalls, while the paper’s analysis will help decision-makers make informed choices about big data solutions. For academics and researchers, this work will provide a foundation for future studies by highlighting knowledge gaps and promising areas for investigation, with particular emphasis on modern machine learning applications and their intersection with big data technologies.
