Contribution to Process Development and Energy Efficiency of Beeswax Sterilization
Sterilization of beeswax is a crucial process in ensuring its sanitary safety, which directly affects the health preservation of the bee colony. The modeling of an innovative sterilizer is presented, along with an analysis of variable process and thermodynamic parameters, achieving optimal sustainability and mass homogeneity of wax sterilization at a temperature of 120°C for a minimum duration of 20 minutes. Emphasis is placed on direct controllability and the correlation between heat exchange intensity and heat flux per unit mass of wax, as well as high energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and the expected sanitary safety of beeswax. Experimental research and potential modifications of the experimental setup will contribute to the development of more efficient and safer sterilization of high-quality substances with variable viscosity and mass homogeneity in production processes.
