Web based Group Decision Support System for usage in Air Handling Unit Concept Development

The article outlines a system that facilitates group support in decision-making for conceptual product development. It details the model employed by various engineering teams during group decision-making, illustrated through a flowchart. Additionally, it explains the architecture of this group decision-making system, designed as a web-based service, enabling connection and collaboration among multiple teams across different locations. The decision-making process utilizes inference rules implemented through fuzzy logic. A case study exploring this system was created to conceptualize an air handling unit.
