THE BALANCE OF CALCIUM AND PHOSPHORUS IN THE BODY OF EXPERIMENTAL BULLS OBTAINED BY INTERBREEDING

The article presents the results of studies of the balance of calcium and phosphorus in the body of experimental bulls obtained as a result of crossing bulls of the Russian Komola breed with cows of Kalmyk, red-mottled and red-steppe breeds. The effective development of beef cattle breeding largely depends on the correct choice of a breed suitable for specific climatic and economic conditions. This involves identifying the potential of breeds by analyzing their growth rate and determining the biological characteristics of animals. This scientific study was conducted to study the metabolism of experimental bulls that were kept and fed under the same conditions. Understanding the balance of essential minerals plays a key role in managing the health and productivity of ruminants. By studying how these minerals interact in the body, we can predict and regulate metabolism. This, in turn, makes it possible, based on scientific research and the data obtained, to develop strategies to increase animal productivity. In other words, a deep understanding of mineral balance is a tool for optimizing the health and productivity of ruminants. Minerals play a key role in metabolism and are of great importance for the formation and maintenance of animal health. They contribute to normal digestion, high productivity, and the development and functioning of reproductive organs. All organs and tissues of an animal contain minerals, which are necessary for performing the physiological functions of the body. Without these elements, the normal functioning of the body is impossible. Minerals serve as the main building material for bone tissue and play a key role in digestion, metabolism, animal growth, product formation, reproduction, as well as in blood circulation and hematopoiesis. Trace elements accelerate the synthesis of structural proteins. In the general metabolism, mineral salts form complex and constantly changing relationships. A lack or excess of certain minerals can lead to a decrease in productivity, fertility and efficiency of feed use, as well as cause various diseases. The correct ratio of these minerals plays an important role in the functioning of the body. For the animal body, the most important minerals are calcium and phosphorus, since their content in the body is relatively high.
