The study used a descriptive quantitative approach, using a sample of 14 students selected through total sampling. An assessment consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions—14 focused on nouns and 11 on adverbs—was used as a tool for evaluation. Each correct answer was given 4 points, while incorrect answers were given 0 points. The scoring was by the classification established by the Ministry of Education: Very high (85–100), High (70–84), Average (55–69), Low (40–54), and Very poor (<40). The results revealed that all students, 100%, were classified as Very Poor, with no one achieving a score above 40. This highlights significant deficiencies in students’ understanding and use of English vocabulary, particularly in differentiating and using nouns correctly The results imply that students lacked sufficient exposure and practice with vocabulary usage, underscoring the necessity for more engaging and contextualized teaching methods. The study concludes that enhancing teaching strategies is crucial for assisting students in effectively utilizing and grasping vocabulary in both real-life communication and academic contexts.
