Gd doping enabling a record <i>zT</i> value of 1.65 at 823 K in Zintl-phase BaCu2Te2
A dual-strategy approach, combining process optimization and carrier concentration tuning, significantly enhances the thermoelectric properties of Zintl-phase BaCu 2 Te 2 . A record zT value of 1.65 has been achieved for Ba 0.96 Gd 0.04 Cu 2 Te 2 .
