A Study on Korean Learners’ Errors in Acquiring Chinese Lexical Terms Corresponding to Sino-Korean words in the Context of International Chinese Language Education

Through a questionnaire survey, this paper studies the dynamic errors of Korean intermediate and advanced learners when they acquire the corresponding Sino-Korean words in the International Chinese Language Education Chinese Proficiency Level Standard. It is found that there are significant differences in the acquisition of homonyms, heteromorphic synonyms and homonyms among Korean learners, especially in the acquisition of homonyms, whose morphological consistency and semantic difference are the main causes of errors. This paper further discusses the multi-dimensional factors of errors, including language differences, individual characteristics of learners and constraints of teaching environment, and puts forward a series of teaching strategies. These strategies cover language teaching, learner awareness raising and teaching environment optimization. The purpose of this study is to help Korean learners overcome the difficulties in the process of acquiring Chinese vocabulary and promote the overall improvement of their Chinese.
