The aim of the paper is to present, through theoretical insights and specific examples from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Sudan, and the United States, the ways in which music contributes to expressing civic dissatisfaction and strengthening group cohesion. The methodological framework is based on qualitative content analysis of publicly available digital sources -media reports, video recordings, and social media contet - combined with interdiciplinary theoretical literature from sociology, cultural study. musicology, and political science.
