Design of Intelligent Vehicle Road Collaboration System for Highways Based on Internet of Vehicles
To reduce communication delay, an intelligent vehicle road coordination system for highways is designed and constructed based on internet of vehicles (IOV) technology. In terms of hardware design, the IOV communication network is deployed in the internal architecture of the Vehicle-Road Collaboration (VRC) system, and environmental sensors and road-side sensing devices are deployed at suitable physical locations. With the support of the IOV communication network, a cloud network environment will be built to improve the communication chain between multiple modules. In terms of software design, based on the constraint function of vehicle state design, an intelligent VRC model is constructed to find the optimal solution, thereby achieving intelligent collaboration between vehicles and roads on highways. The test results show that under complex road conditions, the designed system has low communication delay, large effective data volume, good collaborative control effect, and higher overall communication reliability.
