The information was examined using thematic analysis and interpretative phenomenological analysis. Results : The results were categorized into five themes, each focusing on different aspects of preservice teachers’ experiences in service-learning. These categories not only offered an overview of their growth and development but also shed light on the disparities and challenges within rural areas. Discussion : Service-learning enhanced the professional growth of physical education preservice teachers in Taiwan, fostering adaptability, reflection, and a commitment to addressing challenges in rural areas.
