Compact Multi Frequency Reconfigurable Patch Antenna with Single Ground-Plane Pin Diode for Electronic Surveillance and Wireless Communications
Reconfigurable antennas have recently attracted a lot of attention from researchers in the field of antennas. Because they may be redesigned to fit multiple applications, reconfigurable antennas are also known as smart antennas. Antenna features that can be tuned include frequency, pattern, and polarization. Reduced total volume, simplified design, and lower cost are three benefits of reconfigurability.Using the sub-6 GHz spectrum, the 5G mobile network claims to boost network capacity and provide more reliable and speedy communication services. Reconfigurable antennas are crucial for electronic surveillance and wireless applications because of their flexible frequency selectivity. The use of a single ground-plane PIN diode allows for reconfiguration. Antennas that may be adjusted in frequency are included in the proposed study as a concept known as frequency reconfigurable microstrip patches. A proposed square-shaped reconfigurable microstrip slot antenna operates in the 2.5 to 6 GHz frequency band. Its microstrip line feed system excites its single port. This research proposes a Multifrequency Reconfigurable Patch Antenna with Single Ground-Plane PINDiode for Electronic Surveillance and Wireless Communications (MFRPA-ES-WC). The proposed model when contrasted with the traditional methods performs better in reconfiguration antenna design.
