Virtual Herbal Garden

The Virtual Herbal Garden is a project aimed at providing education and awareness about various herbal plants around the world through an interactive and immersive virtual world. This virtual garden offers users the opportunity to explore medicinal herbs and learn about their medicinal uses and applications. It includes different types of medicinal plants from AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) to plants used for medical purposes globally. When entering the virtual herbal garden, the user will be given a case. The case will consist of a single sentence explaining the health situation of a patient. The user must find the appropriate medicinal herb for the given case. Users can locate the proper herb by exploring the plants around the garden and reading about them with the help of pop-ups that will be displayed when standing close to them. Additionally, users can find the appropriate medicinal plant for a given case by consulting a handbook menu. In the handbook menu, the medicinal uses of each plant will be shown along with their real images. This will enhance the user’s knowledge of herbal medicine while also emphasizing the importance of natural healing methods. As users learn about these plants in the virtual herbal garden through the cases given to them, the progress tracker bar will be updated. With the help of the progress tracker bar, users can see their progress so far and the progress still needed to be covered. Also, with the help of the category menu, users can choose a particular plant from all the plants available in the garden to learn about its uses. Not choosing a particular plant will result in random case selection. Users can also use this option if they prefer random case selection.
