Preparation of biopolymer-supported spinel cobalt ferrite with controlled composition as a peroxydisulfate activator for glyphosate-contaminated wastewater treatment

Biopolymer-supported CoFe 2+ x O 4 was synthesized and efficiently activated PS for enhanced GPS mineralization. The improvement was attributed to Co 2+ regeneration by Fe enrichment, with 1 O 2 , *SO 4 − , and *OH as main reactive species.
