Indicadores socioculturais das cidades circulares
Monitoring circularity in cities faces challenges due to the lack of comprehensive indicators. Most existing metrics focus on specific aspects of the circular economy, hindering a holistic understanding and the development of effective policies. Cross-cutting indicators, particularly sociocultural ones, are essential. This study analyzes three initiatives in Porto (Good Food Hubs, Refood, and Community Composting Islands) and highlights the significance of public spaces in fostering urban circularity. As a conclusion, it proposes the use of these public spaces for circular practices as a sociocultural indicator to measure circularity in cities.
