Towards Sustainable DevOps for Cyber Physical Systems

DevOps has significantly improved the software development life-cycle by enabling fast, automated, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). However, its application to Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) presents unique challenges that require rethinking of traditional practices. DevOps in CPS becomes even more challenging when we consider sustainability, which is becoming increasingly important in all parts of society.

Abstract

DevOps has significantly improved the software development life-cycle by enabling fast, automated, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). However, its application to Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) presents unique challenges that require rethinking of traditional practices. DevOps in CPS becomes even more challenging when we consider sustainability, which is becoming increasingly important in all parts of society.
