EFF ECTIVENESS OF APPLYING METHODS OF TEACHING HANDBALL TO SEVEN-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

In recent years, scientists have accumulated a signifi cant amount of data on the eff ectiveness of using ideomotor training in preparation for sports games, with which athletes were able to master complex technical exercises in a shorter time than with traditional training methods. The article presents data from a year-long formative pedagogical experiment, the purpose of which was to test the eff ectiveness of using information technology in classes with beginning handball players. Two groups of seven-year-old children, each consisting of 18 people, took part in the experiment. According to the design of the experiment, young handball players of both groups performed the same volumes of training loads throughout the year, which are recommended by the Federal Standard of Sports Training (2023). The diff erence in the training programs of both groups was that one of them used traditional methods of teaching handball, the other used information technology and traditional methods. At the end of the experiment, young handball players from the group in which information technology was used surpassed their peers by a statistically signifi cant amount not only in the results of technical readiness, but also in psychophysiological indicators, as well as data on the distribution and stability of attention.
