SCIENTIFI C SEMINAR AS AN EFF ECTIVE FORM ACADEMIC MENTORING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

State University of Physical Culture» is presented on the issue of the relevance of organizing and conducting a permanent scientifi c and practical seminar «Eff ective Mentor», as a relevant form of academic mentoring and professional development and development of specialists in the fi eld of physical culture and sports. In order to obtain feedback, a survey was conducted of the participants of the scientifi c seminar, whose share was 58.0% of all those present at the scientifi c and practical seminar. An analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey of seminar participants showed a high degree of satisfaction among specialists in the fi eld of physical culture and sports (on a 5-point rating scale) with the quality of the organization and conduct of the scientifi c seminar as an eff ective form of academic mentoring.
