Development of a prototype decision support information system for school administration

In today’s environment, educational institutions require effective tools for the rapid analysis of large volumes of data and justified resource management. School administration faces the challenge of making timely decisions on class scheduling, staff allocation, budgeting, and assessment of teaching quality. The aim of this study is to develop a prototype decision support information system (DSS) tailored to the specifics of school management and to evaluate its effectiveness in a pilot implementation. This work is based on systems analysis methodology and an iterative (agile) software development approach.
