Biogas Sustainability Analysis Rap-Biogas Based in Mundu Village, Klaten Regency

The need for energy is increasing along with population growth and industrial progress. One of the renewable energy that can replace the need for fossil fuels is biogas. Mundu Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency is one of the energy independent villages that has been managing livestock waste into biogas as an alternative to fuel since 2013. The purpose of this research is to analyze the status and multidimensional sensitive attributes of sustainability. This research was conducted in Mundu Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency. The data used in this study consisted of primary data collected by means of a questionnaire addressed to 55 biogas users in Mundu Village, and supported by secondary data. Data analysis was performed using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) using a modification of rapfish with five dimensions, namely ecology, economy, social, technology, and institutions. The results of this study indicate that the status of biogas sustainability in Mundu Village as a whole is quite sustainable with an index value of 66.77. Each dimension of sustainability has several sensitive attributes which are determined based on the Root Mean Square (RMS) value of each attribute.
