Образ Справедливого Суда в дидактической литературе Подкарпатья XVII–XVIII вв.
The article examines a number of images of the fair and unfair trial and the judge on a material of Cyrillic manuscripts of Carpathian origin. The image of the just trial is closely connected with Christianity and Christian values and represents the most important event of not only postmortem but also earthly life of a mere human being: the whole earthly life is lived in accordance with the commandments, asking for “a good answer at the Last Judgment of Christ”. The theme of judgment is widely represented in several collections of sermons, teachings, legends and parables of not only ecclesiastical but also secular character.
