Церковнослов’янська мова як об’єкт українського мовознавства: периферійні ділянки

The author examines the most important works of Ukrainian linguists in the field of dictionaries and textbooks of the Church Slavonic language. Since linguists prioritize secular sources, there are few studies of Church Slavonic texts, so lexicography and methods of teaching the Ukrainian redaction of Church Slavonic remain on the periphery of historical and linguistic discourse. The uneven results of Ukrainian researchers are due to the long dominance of Russian-centered conceptions of the history of East Slavic languages and the alienation from original sources to which scholars did not have, and in some places still do not have, access. Of no small importance was the loss of linguistic traditions caused by the destruction of scientific schools during the Soviet period, which was accompanied by repression of scientists and the imposition of ideological perspective at the expense of theoretical and methodological ones.
