ATTRACTING MODERN INVESTMENTS TO THE OIL SECTOR
The oil and gas industry, which plays a key role in the economy of many countries, is focused on ensuring energy sustainability, infrastructure development and the formation of the state budget, but global transformations, including the transition to green energy sources, oil price volatility and technological breakthroughs, are radically changing the investment landscape. In the new realities, investors looking not only for high returns, but also long-term sustainability, innovative solutions and environmental responsibility, require special strategies for investing in the oil and gas sector. The signing of interstate agreements, partnerships with large international corporations and active government participation in supporting the industry through subsidy and incentive programs create additional guarantees for investors, increasing their confidence in oil and gas projects. Attracting relevant investments to the oil sector requires a systemic approach based on the following principles: technological modernization, compliance with environmental standards, creation of a favorable investment climate and diversification of the industry. Only countries and companies that demonstrate the ability to flexibly respond to global trends in the energy sector - the transition to sustainable development, technological breakthroughs and changing consumer preferences - will be able to ensure their long-term competitiveness. Keywords: Oil and gas industry, energy sustainability, technological transformation, ESG principles, investment climate, project diversification.
