Bibliometric Analysis of Citizenship Law in Research Publications
Citizenship law in Indonesia is currently only able to accommodate citizenship issues within the country of Indonesia, whereas citizenship issues do not only occur within the country of Indonesia but also when Indonesian citizens are in other countries. This research aims to provide an overview of published legal research on citizenship. This research uses a literature study that uses 825 scientific articles that have been published using googlescholer data base which is then analyzed using bibliometrics and continued by using vosviewer, Publish or Perish and Dimension. This study shows that publications are spread across countries in the African, Asian and American continents. The data used publications between 2015 and 2024. The results of this study of citizenship law indexed by Google Scholar experienced several variations each year. In 2016 it increased, but from 2017 to 2019 it decreased. The increase occurred in 2020 and 2021. The peak of the increase was in 2022. In 2023 there was a sharp decline. Many studies have not accommodated citizenship issues related to the widespread distribution of Indonesian citizens who are difficult to reach, such as citizenship rights, legal protection and law enforcement.
