Practical Biomimetic Frameworks with Specific Case Studies for Extracting and Applying Biological Solutions

The methodology of biomimetics makes it more efficient to search for biological solutions that can be applied to solve engineering problems.This research presents steps for finding ideas using two approaches. In the problem driven approach, the focus is on developing surface structures for controlling the apple snail in agriculture.In the solution based approach, the relationship between shrimp morphology and velocity in the escape movement was verified using a high-speed camera for future applications.The practical framework for biomimetics, which has been systematized from fundamental research, promotes the connection between biological solutions and engineering problems.
