Development of web-based portal for research synthesis on scheduling of batch processors and simple meta-analysis

This study develops a web-based portal on scheduling of batch processors (SBP) to synthesise the entire published research articles in this area and appropriately disseminate the same to research communities. This portal captures the vital parameters of each published SBP article and stores them in a database. Accordingly, the complete details of 315 published research articles on SBP are stored in the database. From this portal, users can get the list of research articles on SBP based on a predefined general query, and user's customised query. Further, user can add his/her published research article and/or send the update request to administrator. The administrator validates it and then adds/modifies the corresponding record in the database. Moreover, users can view the pre-defined simple meta-analysis of diffusion furnaces (BP) in semiconductor manufacturing industry based on machine environment, nature of scheduling, performance measures, methodology, data source used, benchmark procedure considered, journal, publisher, and year.
