Female Presidents of the British Dental Association (1946-2022).

At first glance women might seem to have played little part in the British Dental Association's affairs. For example, none have been secretaries of the Association; and only one has been editor of its journal. That is a wrong surmise, as many females have contributed significantly with their talents on local and national committees. Further, this paper shows there have been some outstanding female Presidents.

For example, none have been secretaries of the Association; and only one has been editor of its journal. That is a wrong surmise, as many females have contributed significantly with their talents on local and national committees.
