El Sentido de las Ideas: En la filosofía de Luis Villoro
This article aims to reflect on the meaning of the ideas that characterize the philosophical multifacetedness of Luis Villoro. The theoretical research method is used to structure this reflection. As a result, we identify Villoro’s trajectory from a historical perspective—used to explain the circumstances underpinning Mexican and Latin American society—through phenomenology, where he adopts ethical notions as theory of action, then analytical philosophy, rejecting intuitionist prejudice, and finally his turn to a philosophy of culture, with emphasis on individual and collective life. The work highlights how Villoro’s philosophical ideas transcend into praxis, especially in his engagement with indigenous causes and social justice.
