The Pathways for Enhancing the Core Competencies of Middle School Ideological and Political Education Teachers

新时代背景下，实现立德树人根本任务尤为关键，其中，中学思政课教师核心素养的提升具有不可替代的重要性。新课程标准对教师提出了将核心素养与学科教学相结合的新要求，这无疑为教师的专业发展带来了新挑战。研究以中学思政课教师核心素养为出发点，深入探究中学思政课教师所应具备的四大核心素养，并结合现实剖析当前中学思政课教师核心素养提升面临的诸多问题，如部分教师政治理论性不突出、师德示范作用不显著、专业知识更新滞后、教学方法缺乏创新。基于此，研究提出了切实可行的提升策略，包括加强思想政治教育以巩固教师的政治基础；强化师德师风建设；扩充教师的知识储备；以及深化教学能力的培训。通过实施这些策略，旨在持续促进思政课教师核心素养的提升，为培育能够肩负民族复兴大任的时代新人提供坚实的支撑。Under the background of the new era, achieving the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talent is particularly crucial. Among this, enhancing the core competencies of middle school ideological and political education teachers is of irreplaceable significance. The new curriculum standards have put forward new requirements for teachers to integrate core competencies with subject teaching, which undoubtedly brings new challenges to teachers’ professional development. This study takes the core competencies of middle school ideological and political education teachers as the starting point, deeply explores the four core competencies that middle school ideological and political education teachers should possess, and analyzes the many problems faced by the current improvement of core competencies of middle school ideological and political education teachers in reality, such as the lack of prominence in political theory among some teachers, the insignificant exemplary role of teachers in terms of professional ethics, the lag in the update of professional knowledge, and the lack of innovation in teaching methods. Based on this, this study proposes practical and feasible improvement strategies, including strengthening ideological and political education to consolidate teachers’ political foundation; strengthening the construction of teachers’ professional ethics and teaching style; expanding teachers’ knowledge reserves; and deepening the training of teaching abilities. Through the implementation of these strategies, it aims to continuously promote the improvement of the core competencies of ideological and political education teachers and provide a solid support for cultivating new era individuals capable of shouldering the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.
