Robot-assisted Partial Nephrectomy for Complex (PADUA score >10) Renal Masses
What's known on the subject? and What does the study add?The preoperative aspects and dimensions used for an anatomical (PADUA) score predicts anatomical complexity and complication risk in partial nephrectomy, but large-scale data on robot-assisted surgery for highly complex tumors are limited. This study demonstrates that robot-assisted partial nephrectomy is feasible and safe even for tumors with PADUA 10, providing valuable outcome data from a large single-surgeon cohort.
