Simulation study on large-span steel roof sliding construction in severe, cold environments

This study was based on the construction of a large-span steel truss roof system in a certain project, and mainly introduced the technical points of high-precision sliding construction of a 196.8 m large-span truss in a harsh, cold environment (−20°C). The research team simulated the sliding construction process in severe, cold environments by establishing a numerical simulation model, and analysed key parameters such as stress and displacement of the structure during construction in detail, providing solid theoretical support for practical engineering. At the same time, the team combined on-site detection technology to conduct real-time monitoring of the sliding construction process to ensure quality and safety during the construction process. The results indicate that compared with the on-site measured values, the maximum error of the calculated theoretical value is 6 mm, which not only demonstrates the accuracy and reliability of numerical simulation, but also leverages the dual advantages of numerical simulation and on-site detection technology, effectively guiding the sliding construction of large-span high-precision steel roofs in harsh, cold environments, and providing an effective reference value for other related projects in the future.
