CAPABILITIES OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES IN THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITALIZATION OF THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

The article discusses the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in agriculture as a promising area of automation and optimization of agricultural production. The key advantages of using drones are described, including operational monitoring of crop conditions, spot application of fertilizers and pesticides, as well as field mapping. The possibility of increasing yields, reducing costs and minimizing environmental impacts through the use of drones is emphasized. The main tasks and barriers associated with the introduction of drones into agriculture are analyzed, such as the need to train operators and regulate the use of UAVs. It is concluded that drones are a catalyst for change leading to a more sustainable and automated future of agriculture.
