Register Analysis and Implications on Text of National Park Official Websites in China

国家公园官方网站是国家公园信息传播的重要平台，在国家公园的形象塑造和对外推广中发挥着重要作用，这些网站上的文本也是网站建设的重要内容。值得注意的是，我国国家公园网站上使用的文本有显著的国家特征。本文从中国国家公园官方网站的不同模块中提取文本样本进行定量与定性分析，并从语域分析的角度，总结出网站使用文本的情景特征和语言特征。结果表明，使用语篇在参与者关系等方面凸显出由上到下的信息传达特点，这一特点同时也与文本的主题和交际目的相呼应，有着独特的语域情景特征。这种情景特征同时也在语言特征中得到了投射，具体表现在句子结构和词汇特点上。这些发现能够为中国国家公园网站建设提供重要的启示和参考价值。The official websites of national parks serve as crucial platforms for information dissemination, playing a significant role in the image building and external promotion of national parks. The text used on these websites is also an important content of website improvement. It is noteworthy that the texts used on the official websites of China’s national parks exhibit distinct national characteristics. This study extracted text samples from various modules of the official websites of China’s national parks and conducted both quantitative and qualitative analyses. From the perspective of register analysis, the study summarized the situational and linguistic characteristics of the texts used on those websites. The findings indicate that the discourse features a top-down information transmission pattern in terms of participant relationships, which is in line with the topics and communicative purposes of the texts, and reflects unique situational characteristics of the register. These situational characteristics are also reflected in the linguistic features, specifically in terms of sentence structure and lexical characteristics. These features provide significant insights and reference value for the construction of the official websites of China’s national parks.
