APPLICATION OF CRITICAL THINKING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONTEXT OF ONLINE FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING

This article explores the implementation of critical thinking strategies in the context of online foreign language learning. The relevance of the study is based on the growing need for students to develop cognitive flexibility, analytical reasoning, and independent reflection in a remote educational environment. The aim was to investigate how the integration of critical thinking elements influences linguistic productivity and students’ cognitive engagement. The methodology included theoretical analysis, student surveys, observation, and comparative performance evaluation between experimental and control groups. Results show that students exposed to critical thinking-based approaches demonstrated higher argumentation, logical reasoning, and reflective abilities. The findings may be applied in designing modern online foreign language courses.
