Comparison study on double-sided LC and double-sided LCLC compensation topologies
This paper examines and contrasts the attributes of the double-sided LC and LCLC compensation configurations. The equivalent models for both compensation configurations are presented. By determining the ratio of active to reactive power via the coupling capacitor, the crucial factors influencing power transmission are identified. The maximum efficiency is related to the compensation capacitance values of the coupling capacitor and the other capacitors involved. Based on the equivalent models of the two configurations, the energy transfer characteristics of the two configurations are compared under different voltage gains. To validate the analysis results, 2.4 kW CPT systems employing both compensation configurations are constructed.
