Analysis of the influencing factors on college students' willingness to use Chinese large models

With the development of artificial intelligence technology, the application potential of Chinese Large Models (hereinafter referred to as "CLM") has become prominent. This paper takes junior undergraduates from the School of The Electronic Engineering, Harbin Institute of Information Technology, as the research subjects. Data was collected through a questionnaire survey, and SPSS software was used to analyze the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, as well as to explore the factors influencing the willingness to use. The results show that 65.79% of the students in the sample have used CLM. Students who have used them have diverse sources of information and mainly apply them to course learning and paper writing. They point out areas for improvement in performance and functionality while generally acknowledging ease of use. Students who have not used them value practicality, convenience, and other factors. Although CLM have advantages over foreign models in Chinese understanding, there are still areas for improvement. This paper provides empirical evidence for the optimized promotion of CLM among college students.
