Research and design of an integrated airborne radio navigation receiver
Radio navigation is an important navigation method in civil aviation aircraft. With the rapid development of avionics toward high integration and consolidation, integrated radio navigation receivers have shown tremendous potential due to their low power consumption, simplified structure, and high integration. This paper uses the low-power chip AD607 and designs and implements an airborne integrated navigation receiver for the Instrument Landing System (ILS) and VOR (VHF Omnidirectional Range) systems. The receiver system effectively realizes the miniaturization and integration of airborne radio navigation systems. Through testing of standard analog navigation signals, the results show that the RF receiver circuit built with AD607 performs excellently in key aspects such as signal reception, mixing, intermediate frequency amplification, and demodulation, fully meeting the design requirements. The designed integrated receiver system can operate stably and reliably, providing a solid guarantee for flight safety.
