The relationship between the resting-state electroencephalogram and steady-state visually evoked potentials
Exploring the relationship between resting state and steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) response is the key to neurophysiological research. In this study, we explore the correlation between the phase amplitude coupling (PAC) of alpha rhythm and high-frequency rhythm (beta and gamma) during the resting state and SSVEP response. Our results reveal significant positive correlations between the beta-alpha and gamma-alpha PAC and SSVEP responses in the eye-closed resting state. Our work provides a reference basis for research on SSVEP response mechanisms.
