Unique Compound Error Computation Integral Method for Pv-Battery Based Hybrid Microgrid Operation
This study suggests a unique harmonic computation i.e. compound error computation integral (CEEI) and compensation method for grid integrated PV and battery-based systems to improve the power quality (PQ) during Phase locked loop (PLL) phase computation. The undertaken PV system enhances its performance through maximum power point algorithm and helps to generate the maximum dc-link voltage conditions during disturbed climatic conditions. In addition to that, to provide an immediate back during lesser power generation a battery energy storage device is integrated. Moreover, by considering the unique harmonic computation and compensation technique, a novel inverter control is also suggested to offer power regulation and PQ. The proposed approach signifies its suitability by reducing the computational burden, performs seamless operation with PLL technique for fast, exact phase and harmonic computation on distorted grids, validated through different test conditions and compared with the traditional instantaneous reactive power method.
