Microgrid Protection Against Dynamic Load Variations
The increasing integration of renewable energy sources in microgrids presents significant challenges related to dynamic load variations, system stability, and energy efficiency. This paper proposes an IOT-based real-time monitoring system integrated with the Teager Energy methodology to enhance microgrid protection and optimization. The system is designed to address key issues such as overload protection, remote control, and efficient power utilization. By leveraging IOT sensors and cloud-based analytics, the proposed framework provides real- time alerts, automated circuit protection against short circuits and overloads, and intelligent energy management for improved operational efficiency. The Teager Energy methodology aids in predicting load fluctuations and generating the thresholds for accurate detection during uncertainties. Experimental validation demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach in maintaining system stability and improving overall microgrid efficiency. This research contributes to the development of intelligent and adaptive microgrid protection ensuring reliable and sustainable energy distribution.
