Analysis and Research on Event Triggering Process Based on Open Source RT_Thread Architecture
Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) is a system software applied in embedded systems, communication in RTOS refers to the exchange of information between threads or between threads and interrupt service routines, its function is to achieve synchronization and data transmission. When coordinating interrupts and synchronizing between threads or threads, but without the need to transmit data, event based methods are often used. This article first introduces the basic meaning and application scenarios of events, as well as the execution process of event receiving functions and event sending functions, next, analyze the timing of event scheduling through examples of event scheduling mechanisms between threads. Finally, the thread scheduling process is segmented and analyzed, and the running results of each segment are provided. It provides convenience for readers to understand the triggering process of events in RT_Thread. It also provides reference and inspiration for analyzing the working principles of other synchronization and communication methods of RTOS.
