Research on Channel Resource Management Method of LoRa Network under High-Dense Coverage
LoRa(Long Range) is a low-power wide area network technology, which attracts attention because of its long distance, low power consumption and low cost. This study proposes a placement and channel spread factor management method for multi-channel LoRa gateway to achieve reliable communication with the least number of gateways. The placement problem is transformed into $\mathbf{0 - 1}$ programming and solved by simulated annealing algorithm; The channel resource management problem is transformed into nonlinear integer programming and solved by genetic algorithm. Simulation evaluation shows that the the proposed method with six gateways can achieve less than $0.1 \%$ end-device unconnected, and the probability of at least one successful uplink within five attempts can reach 99% end-devices.
